The following scheduled events were postponed because of the COVID-19 emergency, new dates will be posted when they become known.  Ken will welcome opportunities to participate in virtual/online events:


Clifton Forge Public Library.  Ken will be speaking about the life of Norvel Lee and signing the book, NORVEL, after the talk.  The town of Clifton Forge plays a key role in Norvel Lee's life.


Eagle Rock, Virginia, Library.   Ken will be speaking about the life of Norvel Lee and t signing the book, NORVEL, after the talk.  Eagle Rock is very near where Norvel was born and raised.


Harrison Museum of African American Culture, Center in the Square, Roanoke, Virginia.  Ken will give a talk about his book, NORVEL.

Past  Events:


Tuesday, May 12:  Daleville, Virginia.  A virtual book club event.  The book club discussed NORVEL by commenting and asked questions of the author.  


Friday, February 21, 2020 11am:  Goodwill Industries of the Valley at the Goodwill's Melrose Jobs Campus.  Ken was a member of a panel for Goodwill's Celebration of Diversity event for 2020.  He was focussed on local African American heros including Norvel Lee.


February 8, 2020, 2PM - Ken lectured on the life of Norvel Lee, the subject of his just released book, at the Fincastle Library, Fincastle, Virginia. This event was sponsored by the Botetourt County Historical Society, one of several events commemorating the founding of the county 250 years ago and Black History Month.
